Pursuing Wholeness: WKC Gardens

Last Saturday we began construction on the WKC gardens. 15 volunteers helped out on a hot and challenging day, with lots of digging and sledge hammering. The result was the start of a beautiful project that will be a blessing to our local community. Scroll down to see more pictures and see the connection between pursuing wholeness and the gardens.

What does it mean to pursue wholeness and what does that have to do with WKC gardens? Pursuing wholeness is a call to participate in creating peace, doing what is right, being merciful, and more, for the world. It invites us to love our neighbour as ourselves, to listen, to collaborate and to advocate together for what is right, for what is just, for what is Shalom. WKC gardens is an opportunity to seek the wholeness and wellbeing of our local community.

“The response so far from the WKC community has been very positive. People are excited about the project and are enthusiastic to get involved.” - Savanah
