Art at WKC | Right-Brain Drawing & Intro to Urban Sketching

Our very first Art at WKC class finished up and it was an amazing blessing. Lead by Pam Vickerson the seven week course was an introduction to Urban Sketching.

Participants in the class said:

"the class was relaxing, challenging, interesting"

 "I loved [appreciating] others' drawing. I also enjoyed creating my own sketchbook. My daily work has been hectic, I am so glad that I can take some time to relax. This art class formed a community where we can share life and play together"

 "I learned that I CAN draw!"

Serving at the Calgary Pregnancy Care Centre.

Last Wednesday our Midweek Discipleship group went downtown to serve at the Calgary Pregnancy Care Center. We had the privilege of seeing their facility and hearing about all the amazing work they are doing! We also got to help out by sorting, cleaning and organizing. It was such a blessing for us and we want to continue praying for the families going through this incredible program. Be on the look out for more serving opportunities and different ways to help out the centre.

Young Adults Escape Room

Last Thursday the young adults went to a Jurassic park Escape room and made it out in time! As you can see we took advantage of the signs for our victory picture!
