Serving encompasses our commitment to a better world, our participation in a better city and our expression of faith lived out in this particular faith community.

The Serve:Local committee exists to facilitate the connection of WKC volunteers with worthy non-profit organizations in Calgary. The intent is to partner in opportunities that lead to long term, measurable and sustainable social good. Its criteria is that such partnerships be aligned with the vision and values of WKC and that each opportunity leads to a meaningful, impactful volunteer experience.

Samaritan’s Purse Shoebox Packing Party
Saturday Nov 5: 2 pm – 4 pm in the West Hall at Westside
Commit to bringing in some much needed new items and then join us to assemble the gift boxes. Boxes this year will be shared with needy children in West Africa and the Caribbean. Share God’s love and the joy of Christmas with a deserving child overseas. Your gift can make an eternal difference.
