A Deep Dive Seminar:
The Gift of Being You
Socrates said “know thyself”. Augustine said “only he who loves God knows how to love himself”. Paul said “serve each other in love”. This two-part seminar is designed to help you understand your own personal uniqueness as well as your God-given gift and calling. Expect a combination of instruction, casual hands-on learning, and real personal discovery.

COURSE OUTLINE:
Session 1 (January 25: 6 to 9 pm)
Personality Dimensions (Gina Wiebe)
We begin by understanding the unique person we already are. PD is
a fantastic tool to create a solid understanding of one’s self, those we are
closest to (spouses, children, co-workers), and those we encounter each
day. PD emphasizes the traits and characteristics that make us unique,
and those we share with others. You will learn to appreciate yourself and others more, express yourself appropriately, influence others positively, negotiate more effectively, and narrow gaps and differences in your relationships.
Session 2 (February 8: 7 to 9 pm)
Gifts and Calling (Bob Osborne)
We finish by considering the gift and calling of God, the ways he is personally shapes our story so that we can “serve others in love” (Gal. 5:13). What is the nature of this gift and calling? What is in your life to give others? Spiritual maturity involves this awakening to our God-directed placement in his world.
When we realize our gift and calling we realize our deepest joy, our deepest meaning.
Gina Wiebe is a certified Personality Dimensions Facilitator. “Talking in Color” has been a passion for Gina since her first introduction in 1998. You will enjoy her informational, fun-filled and casual approach.
Bob Osborne has been a pastor and teacher for almost 3 decades. Bob brings a wealth of pastoral experience and theological reflection to the question of spiritual gifting and personal calling.
