CHILDREN & FAMILY
Westside King’s Children’s Ministry believes that life change begins here… in our Nursery, with our Preschoolers and Grade School kids, too. Our purpose is to partner with the family to make real the legacy of God’s love and truth for each child regardless of their age… Together as a community, parents and non-parents, we build a spiritual legacy for the next generation.

- NURSERY (under 24 months): It is our belief that each child is significant in the eyes of God. It is our desire to partner with young families in planting early seeds of spiritual legacy into the hearts of even the youngest through simple stories, songs and prayers. Through consistent care and a safe environment babies & toddlers are welcomed in as part of the Westside community. Our nursery and “mom’s room” (c/w video feed from West Hall) are now located in East Hall.
Note: children move up to Preschool on their 2nd birthday.
- PRESCHOOL (Turtles, Bunnies, Llamas, Kinderga
rten) [ages 2-5]: Through fun, interactive play and consistent care, preschoolers discover the wonder of who God is based on three basic truths: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. Located in the East Hall. Note, children move up in Preschool when we transition in September. Children are placed in classes according to C.B.A. school cut-off (end of February).
- GRADE SCHOOL (Grade 1-2, Grade 3-4):
Through games, activities and well thought discussions, children learn who God is and build trusting friendships with peers and caring leaders. Children and leaders are challenged to see God’s Big Story of love and salvation within their own individual stories. Together they learn how to daily: make the right choice, trust God no matter what, and to treat others the way they want to be treated. Also, located in East Hall. Following Worship in West Hall, parents will join their children in East Hall for the remainder of the celebration hour. Our purpose is to equip our families with faith tools and resources to aid them in building spiritual legacies.
